Correlation Between Family Cohesion and Recurrence in Schizophrenics at the dr. Soetomo Hospital Psychiatric Clinic

ABSTRACTBackground; Schizophrenia recurrence is caused by many factors, one of which family factors. Family very important for people with schizophrenia, where the roles and functions to provide an affective function meet psychosocial needs members in providing affection. Objective; This study was conducted aim knowing correlation between cohesion schizophrenic patients at Dr. Soetomo Hospital Psychiatric clinic. Methods; research method using observational-analytic design cross-sectional approach a sample Psychiatry Clinic dr. Surabaya June-August 2020 met inclusion criteria. The variables studied were schizophrenia. Samples taken total sampling size 40 subjects. Sampling Clinic. Data analysis performed Spearman technique. Results; results showed coefficient -0.291 significance value 0.69 (p> 0.05).
